The Institute for Work at Height (IWH) has received official recognition by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) as the Professional Body (pb) for the Work at Height Industry in South Africa. The IWH PB is a non-statutory body, recognizing practitioners in the working at height industry

MEMBER ENTRY, GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT PROCEDURE

The purpose of this procedure is to detail the requirements for member entry, guidance and support.

CERTIFICATION PROCEDURE

This policy and procedure is intended to ensure consistency, fairness and business efficiency with respect to the certification process. It should be followed with due care and accuracy and all appropriate data must be recorded on the member certificates.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD) PROCEDURE

This procedures and guidelines document is intended to ensure consistency, fairness and business efficiency with respect to the CPD process. It should be followed with due care and accuracy and all appropriate data must be recorded and saved for audit purposes.

MEMBER GRIEVANCES RESOLUTION PROCEDURE

The complainant must submit a grievance to the IWH CEO/Secretariat by writing an official letter or completing the formal IWH grievance report (IWH-F025).

REGISTRATION OF LNQ PROGRAMS PROCEDURE

Providers interested in submitting their non-NQF learning programmes complete the application for ‘Extension of scope to offer Non-NQF learning programmes’ and submit it with your learning programme, Purpose, Admissions criteria (including prior learning if applicable), A range statement, Outcomes and assessment criteria to the IWH Professional Body CEO.
